Fiat e-Ducato chassis L3 / L4. Van chassis, electric drive

Fiat e-Ducato chassis L3 / L4. Van chassis, electric drive, body length approx. 425 / 460 cm.

Fiat Professional has been manufacturing the electrically powered version of the Ducato chassis at the Sevel SpA factory in the Italian village of Atessa, near Rome, since June 2025. The drivetrain of this vehicle is the same as that of the e-Ducato panel van. The electric motor has a maximum power of 200 kW and there is a 110 kWh battery that ensures a maximum range of 323 km.

The drive battery can be charged with 22 kilowatts (previously on the panel van: 11 kW), which means that a full charging cycle takes six hours. This makes it possible to make the vehicle fully charged overnight.

The e-Ducato has modern electronic systems to make driving safer, including:
– emergency braking system with pedestrian detection
– attention assist, warns if the driver’s alertness decreases
– intelligent speed assist (can be switched off), reads speed limits from signs and adjusts the cruise control accordingly
– a digital interior mirror, in fact a small display with input from the rear camera
– lane keeping assist and lane centering
– blind spot detection
– remote control via smartphone, for switching on the air conditioning and monitoring the battery capacity etcetera
– keyless entry and starting
– electric parking brake
– electronic stability control

Not standard but optionally available are e.g. rain and light sensors, a wireless charging station for the smartphone, a DAB+ antenna integrated in the exterior mirror and a 230V socket on the center console.

The e-Ducato chassis is available in two lengths: L3 and L4. Both versions have a wheelbase of 403.5 cm. The L4 has a longer rear overhang. Virtually identical vehicles are or will be available with a different brand name: as Opel Movano-e chassis, Peugeot e-Boxer chassis, Citroën ë-Jumper chassis and Vauxhall Movano-e chassis. These are all built on the same assembly line in Italy.

Stellantis also supplies the Fiat e-Ducato as Cargo Box BEV: a cargo box with doors at the rear and a right side door. The internal dimensions of this box are: 423 x 203 x 215 cm (L3) or 450 x 203 x 230 cm (L4).

Finally, the electric chassis is also available as a chassis for campers, and as a drivehead.
