The Kässbohrer huckepack mega K.SCS M curtainsider is designed for high-volume intermodal transports. The chassis is made of high-strength steel with cathodic dip coating, while train loading brackets, suitable for P400 e-f-g-i wagons, make the vehicle intermodal. This trailer is also suitable for ferry transport, thanks to a reinforced gooseneck, galvanized bumper protection and ferry eyes.
The trailer is equipped with the K-Fix load securing system – with 236 lashing points, each with a capacity of 2.5 tonnes. In addition, the K.SCS M meets the EN 12642 Code XL – VDI 2700 standards for load securing in all roof lifting positions.
This trailer can also be used in LZV combinations with a total length of 25.25 metres, and is also used in the experimental Super Eco Combis (tractor with two trailers, total length 32.5 metres).
