This three-axle Krone curtainsider trailer stands out because of its double floor. This movable floor, installed by Hartog-Est bv from Waardenburg (NL), is suspended from metal uprights and can be moved up and down electrically. It consists of two sections that can move independently and be secured at various heights.
This trailer is ideal for transporting light goods, which can be loaded and unloaded via the tailgate (or the sides). The loading length is double that of a standard trailer, but loading and unloading is less easy due to the limited headroom on the lower deck and the limited accessibility of the sides.
Hartog-Est specializes in installing movable double floors. It’s even possible to install two of these floors in one trailer, allowing loading on three levels. Installation in a plywood box trailer is also possible.
