Ford Trucks introduces an electrically powered variant of its 6×2 chassis.
This Ford, built in Turkey, has a Dual e-motor with 3-speed gearbox, a continuous power of 310 kW, peak power 390 kW. For external drive (for example a cooling engine), an e-PTO is available with 80 kW (peak 100 kW). The standard battery capacity is 392 kWh, which should be good for a range of up to 300 km. Charging can be done with a power of 350 kW (CCS type 2), charging from 20 to 80 percent battery filling takes 45 minutes.
It is also worth mentioning that this chassis has a steered trailing axle as standard, that the front suspension is a traditional tub suspension and the rear suspension with air bellows.
