New container chassis with a low tare weight, reduced frame height, and suitable for all container sizes up to 45 ft. The CC-40-3-S features an extendable front end and bumper, making it versatile. This expands its application range, allowing virtually all container sizes to be transported with this trailer variant.
With a tare weight starting at just 3,780 kg, D-TEC also offers a single-girder gooseneck chassis that is among the lightest solutions on the market. Thanks to its low overall height (chassis height: 111 cm – tire size 385/55R22.5), it is possible to remain below the legal 4-meter limit, even with high-cube containers. This results in less air resistance and lower fuel consumption. Incidentally, D-TEC also offers other container carriers with this chassis height.
With the CC-40-3-S, D-TEC is also targeting transport companies that are electrifying their fleet. The low weight and relatively low height ensure a longer range for an electric tractor.
