Liftboxx – Maxus EL 10 Electric. Van chassis, U-shaped with removable / liftable container, electric drive.
Liftboxx builds this container truck based on a Maxus electric van, to which a U-shaped chassis is attached. This vehicle can pick up and transport special containers. The containers are at rest on the road surface, which makes loading and unloading effortless. The hydraulic lifting system of the Liftboxx has been in use for years and is very reliable. This vehicle used to be called Coxx Liftboxx.
The driving head (the front section with engine and cabin) in this model is a Maxus EV80. Liftboxx also supplies this vehicle based on an electric Renault Master (Renault Master E-Tech), or optionally with a diesel engine, or with a Fiat Ducato with diesel, petrol or LPG source.
The Liftboxx EL 10 in the photo was purchased by TU Delft for the inner-city transport of gas bottles. The range is not large, but this Liftboxx does not travel long distances. The load capacity is 921 kg. The maximum permissible weight is 3.5 tons, and this Liftboxx can be driven with a B driving license. There are also versions with more load capacity, for a C1 driving license.
The buyer can determine how long the containers are. The wheelbase of the Liftboxx is adjusted to this.
