If the load in a tank trailer needs to be maintained at a certain temperature, it may be necessary to equip the tank with a heating system. This is particularly important if the heating provided by the tractor’s cooling water system is insufficient, or if the trailer needs to be disconnected.

Features of such a heating system:
– The heater and fuel pump are mounted in a separate stainless steel box on the frame.
– Two batteries are mounted in a separate stainless steel box. The batteries can be charged using a 230V shore plug or from the towing vehicle.
– The heater runs on diesel, for which a separate tank is mounted. The heated fluid is connected to the tank trailer’s steam box via a stainless steel pipe with liquid-tight insulation. The pipes are insulated up to the tank valves and steam box and protected against stone chipping.
