MAN has developed a low version of the electrically powered TGX. With a fifth wheel height of 95 cm thanks to the 50-series tires, this tractor is suitable for transporting large-volume trailers. The vehicle in the photo is used by Duvenbeck Logistik to transport parts for Volkswagen AG.
The vehicle can be equipped with four, five or six drive batteries and has a range of up to 500 km. The short wheelbase of only 375 cm is remarkable. Charging takes place with a charging power of 375 kW; an MCS connection is optionally available, which allows charging with 1 MW. This reduces the charging time by 2/3.
