Renault Trucks supplies this Master chassis to companies that want to carry out their regional distribution without emissions. A box of approximately five metres fits on this chassis, and the total length of the vehicle is approx. seven metres. The electric motor delivers a modest 55 kW continuously, with a peak power of 105 kW. That doesn’t sound impressive, but this Master moves swiftly. The drive is on the front axle, which means there is enough space on the chassis for batteries, and of course this saves on weight.
Charging is done with an AC charger (3 phase, 32A, or optionally with 2 phase 10A which is a normal 220V socket), or at the charging station, with a maximum of 130 kW and 350A. The driving range is not yet known.
The Renault Master E-Tech model 2024 is equipped with the necessary electronic safety and comfort systems, such as: Lane Keeping Assist, ABS, emergency brake assistant, emergency call, high beam assistant, electric air conditioning, heated windshield, reverse camera, parking sensors, tire pressure control, traffic sign recognition, preparation for alcohol lock, fatigue detection.
The gross vehicle weight is 4000 kg, but this chassis can also be registered at 3500 kg gvw. The vehicle in the photo has an empty weight of 2473 kg (including the box), which leaves a considerable 1027 kg net loading capacity.
Wheel base is 422 cm which is 11 cm shorter than the previous model.
