Cargo bed manufacturer Spier developed this cargo space to combine with the Iveco eMoovy (a rebadged Hyundai), an electrically powered chassis. The result is a fully electric delivery van with a very accessible cargo space (entry height 50 cm, load height 190 cm), good performance, and a range of 265 to 320 km (depending on the battery chosen).
A characteristic feature of the eMoovy is the low chassis. Spier has managed to keep the cargo bed so low that you can effortlessly enter it from the rear and the side. These types of vehicles are usually used for parcel delivery, and the absence of exhaust fumes is naturally an advantage here; you are allowed to enter all environmental zones with it. The eMoovy always has a wheelbase of 350 cm. The box shown by Spier has a length of 270 cm; the maximum box length permitted on this chassis is 320 cm. The internal width of the cargo box is 198 cm, but there are cutouts for the wheel arches.
With a GVW of 3.5 tonnes, the payload of the complete vehicle is approximately 1,125 kg.
The driver’s cab of the Iveco eMoovy offers the comfort of a passenger car. Simple operation, good acceleration, and many safety options including an emergency braking system, one-pedal operation, keyless entry, and the ability to remotely track vehicles.
