This Schmitz box trailer is equipped with a perforated pattern along the side walls, allowing for flexible configuration of the cargo space. Crossbeams can be used to create an additional loading level, and cargo can be easily secured.
The trailer utilizes Schmitz Cargobull’s modular dry-freight transport system, incorporating components such as an aluminum front bulkhead, steel connecting profiles, and a galvanized, bolted chassis construction. The body meets the requirements of the DIN EN 12642 Code XL standard. A roller shutter door is available as an optional feature.
A version compliant with TAPA TSR1 standards is also available. This security package includes features such as electronic door locks—operable via geofencing or remote control—acoustic alarm systems with door contact sensors, a dedicated battery, and corresponding monitoring functions accessible through the Schmitz TrailerConnect portal.
