City trailer for general cargo, manufactured by Talson, consisting of a self-supporting aluminium body with a semi-frame attached to it at the front (at the kingpin) and rear (rear wheel suspension). This trailer has a loading length of 10.85 metres, good for 27 euro pallets, an internal height of 270 cm and a load capacity of 14,215 kg.
Features of this trailer are the TalFix panels that are fitted inside against the side walls, over the entire length. This offers endless possibilities for strapping loads, plus the possibility of placing cross beams, with which a second loading floor can be built.
This Talson trailer has only one axle, which is forced steered, making the combination very manoeuvrable. This is a ten-ton BPW axle. The kingpin can be loaded up to 12 tonnes, which brings the gross vehicle weight to 22 tonnes. This trailer has a plywood floor with a resin layer, which is suitable for use with a forklift truck. The example in the picture has a Dhollandia Cantilever DHLM 30 heavy-duty rear-closing tailgate with a capacity of 2.5 tonnes.
