VDL P14 Portal arm installation with netting. Portal arm container system, capacity 14 tons, with net installation.
VDL Containersystems supplied this portal installation to HRM Containers. It was installed on this Scania R530 V8 chassis (wheelbase 395 cm) and can lift 14 tons. That is more than enough because the net load capacity of this Scania plus body is 9214 kg.
The VDL portal arm system is connected to the truck via CAN. The driver has a remote control with sequence control. The netting is clearly visible in the photo, with which the container can be closed very easily at the top. The support legs are extendable so that stability is guaranteed during loading and unloading.
Based on DIN 30723 container standard. Suitable for DIN 30720/30730 containers.
