Scania 25P 4×2 — Electric truck chassis with refrigerated body. 4×2 chassis with electric drive, 230 kW / 310 hp, cargo box with electric cooling.
Some time ago, we presented the 6×2 chassis of the electric Scania 25P, and here is the 4×2. This particular truck is built with a refrigerated cargo box and an electric Frigoblock cooling unit, which is housed in a recess in the cargo area (at the top front), to maximize space for the drive batteries at the frame. 
The truck also has an electro-hydraulic tail lift, maximizing the use of the batteries.
The Scania 25P has a drive motor with a continuous output of 230 kW / 310 hp (peak output 300 kW) and torque of 2200 Nm. Customers can choose between five or nine parallel-connected battery units (165 or 300 kWh). The nominal range of this Scania model is 250 km, but given its heavy-duty application, we dare not comment on that for this example.
The batteries are charged with 130 kW DC using a CCS connector (Combined Charging System). The charging time from empty to 80 percent is less than 55 minutes (5 batteries) and less than 100 minutes with 9 batteries.
The Scania 25P is based on the diesel chassis with a P-cab; the trade name for this truck is still the P230. For its zero-emission trucks, Scania no longer uses horsepower but kW as an indication. This fully equipped 25P 4×2 weighs 12,775 kg, and with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 20.5 tonnes, the payload is 7,725 kg.
