Modern van from the Korean company Hyundai. Easily accessible load space via two sliding doors and two rear doors. Remarkable engine: 1.6-liter petrol engine coupled with an 18 kW electric motor and a small battery (Litium-ion polymer, 1.49 kWh). Not approved for towing a trailer.
The cab is separated from the load space by a steel bulkhead with a window. Two sliding doors with a clear width of 128 cm provide ample access, allowing forklift access to a pallet. The rear doors have large windows.
The driver enjoys excellent comfort thanks to features including automatic climate control and an automatic transmission. The dashboard is digital and has a USB port. Various safety features are standard. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) helps prevent collisions with obstacles in front of the car, including when crossing intersections (FCA-JX) and changing lanes. Lane Keeping Assist warns the driver of unsafe steering maneuvers at excessive speed and corrects the steering if necessary. Lane Following Assist (LFA) helps the driver stay centered in the lane. The Staria is also equipped with eCall, a feature that automatically alerts emergency services if the airbags are deployed or the eCall button is pressed.
In some countries, the Hyundai Staria is also available with a 2.2-liter diesel engine. An electric Staria was introduced in January 2026. Iveco already sells the electric Staria as a chassis, under the name Iveco eMoovy.
