AddSecure RoadView Flex – camera systems for improved safety

AddSecure RoadView Flex – camera systems for improved safety. Easy upgrade to cameras with more safety features.

AddSecure, a supplier of fleet management systems, is expanding its RoadView Flex camera range.

With the new scalable approach for the RoadView cameras introduced in 2025, the range now includes three models: the RoadView Flex, the RoadView Flex ADAS, and the RoadView Flex ADAS + DMS. They all share a common foundation: the on-board camera with a view of the road, which provides video evidence for recorded incidents.

Two options further enhance the models to improve the detection of risky driving behavior:
– The ADAS camera (advanced driver assistance system). This forward-facing camera warns the driver of risks of frontal collisions, pedestrians, cyclists, or insufficient safety distance to another vehicle.
– The DMS sensor (driver monitoring system). The sensor, aimed at the driver’s cabin, detects signs of distraction (phone use, looking away from the road) and the first signs of drowsiness behind the wheel, thanks to artificial intelligence analysis of the driver’s blinks.

These additional features improve hazard detection and complete the camera range. In addition to this, the scalability of the range also supports an educational approach. Combined with AI technology, these features become learning tools thanks to the Safety Score, the smart driving behavior assessment index launched by AddSecure in 2025. All these tools increase driver awareness, helping them become more aware of their behavior and improve their driving style on future trips.

Customers can upgrade from a basic camera model to one with more features. “Installing on-board cameras with smart ADAS and DMS options, such as those in the RoadView Flex range, can reduce accidents in fleets by approximately 30 to 40%,” says Olivier Datry, Vice President of Smart Transport for Southwest Europe at AddSecure. “A collision involving just one truck can cost a company between €50,000 and €2 million. For less than €20 per month per vehicle, the most comprehensive offering in the range quickly pays for itself.”

FlexView cameras have now been installed in 15,000 tractor units for a total of 330 transport companies in the Benelux, France, Spain, and Portugal.
