A cheap Chinese alternative to the Ford e-Transit Custom L2, with a lower range than its European sibling (254 km; the e-Transit Custom drives approx. 360 km on a single battery charge), less luxury, and no option for a trailer. This L2H2 *does* meet all safety requirements set by Europe, and it has a high roof. The exact dimensions have not yet been released by Ford, but assume an extra 30 cm of load height.
This Transit City is only available with a 150 hp electric motor and a 56 kWh LFP drive battery. Charging takes place overnight at a wall box (4.5 hours charging with 11 kW AC) or at a fast charger with a maximum of 87 kW DC (half an hour charging from 10 to 80 percent). The Ford Transit City is ideal in zero-emission zones for movers, handyman businesses, installers, parcel services, freight taxis, market vendors—you name it.
In addition to this L2H2, the Transit City is available as an L1H1 and as a chassis cab.
