Dangel e-Expert / ë-Jumpy / Vivaro-e / e-Scudo (L2 or L3) 4×4

Dangel e-Expert / e-Jumpy / Vivaro-e / e-Scudo (L2 or L3) 4×4. Medium-sized van, electric drive, automatic 4WD, load length 218 / 253 cm.

After a temporary absence from this segment, the French company Dangel is once again building 4×4 versions of its medium-sized Stellantis vans. These are the electric versions of the Peugeot Expert, Citroën Jumpy, Opel Vivaro, and Fiat Scudo, which are technically almost identical. Customers can choose from two lengths (loading box length approximately 218 or 253 cm).

The 4WD by Dangel system is based on an electrified rear axle, powered by a 48V autonomous battery that does not require charging. (In the 4×2 models, only the front axle is powered.) Combined with an electronic control unit, it automatically adjusts power distribution to suit driving conditions. The result: optimal traction on all terrains (road, snow, sand, mud, or steep paths) with unprecedented comfort and ease of use.

The Dangel selector offers two driving modes:
– In AUTO mode, the rear axle is automatically engaged as soon as the controller detects loss of traction on the front wheels.
– LOW mode redefines the “low first gear” and amplifies torque at low speeds for the most demanding situations.
These new 4×4 models also feature a steel underbody to protect the drivetrain. Raised versions offering greater ground clearance will be available later.

The concept of an automatic transmission with automatically engaged 4WD offers the driver convenience and confidence for optimal driving in challenging conditions, such as on construction sites, forest paths, on roadsides, or on snowy terrain. According to Dangel, the original payload is maintained.

To celebrate the launch of its new range, Dangel is offering a limited edition of fifty vehicles with an adventurous look and over €2,000 in customer benefits: roof racks, running boards, license plates, exclusive stickers, and a free three-year warranty extension.

As a second-tier vehicle manufacturer, Dangel is partnering with Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, and Fiat to offer professionals and private customers solutions tailored to their traction needs: bodywork lifts and protection for the most sensitive components, with 4×4 or 4×2 transmission options available. Based in Alsace, the company exports nearly three-quarters of its production. It is also a member of the BPI France Excellence network and benefits from the France Relance plan for the development of its new products.
