Iveco Trucks and lubricant manufacturer Petronas Lubricants will continue to work closely together for the next five years. Iveco announced this. Petronas develops and supplies lubricants and other fluids specifically tailored to Iveco trucks.
The long-standing collaboration led to the launch of the joint motor oil brand Iveco Urania and Iveco Tutela for transmission fluids, among other things. These products are the result of decades of joint research and development. Iveco recommends these brands exclusively to its customers.
The recent market introduction of Urania Next 0W-16 demonstrates how consistently and rapidly both companies innovate. This first SAE 0W-16 motor oil, specifically developed for heavy-duty applications, offers high fuel efficiency and enables longer oil change intervals. The oil is compatible with future Iveco Euro 7 diesel engines.
An important part of the renewed agreement is targeted support for the global Iveco dealer network. In addition to supplying innovative products, Petronas will further expand cooperation with dealers and increase awareness of recommended lubricants. The goal is to support customers with solutions that enable high vehicle reliability and low total cost of ownership. In doing so, Petronas strengthens the Iveco dealer network and creates long-term added value for customers and partners.
