6×2 tractor unit with a steered, liftable pusher axle. A reliable workhorse from the Volvo Group, comparable to the Volvo FH. Thanks to the extra axle, this Renault T can tow heavy trailers, up to 18 tonnes of fifth wheel weight. This version with the Turbo Compound engine was introduced in 2023. A popular power source, as it can save up to 10% on fuel.
The 6×2 is 52 cm longer than the 4×2. It can be optionally equipped with a sliding fifth wheel.
Also available as the Renault T High 480 Turbo Compound (with a flat cab floor).
