We do not often see the P-cab on an 8×2 chassis, but it is possible. In fact, Scania even supplies this chassis with an L-cab on order! The reason is often a special superstructure, such as a crane, a cherry picker, or, as here, a pump with a slewing ring used as a sewage pump in North Holland.
The 12.7-liter diesel is familiar: it delivers 450 hp / 331 kW and has six cylinders. The chassis features three steered axles: axles 1, 2, and 4. Axles 2 and 4 are liftable, achieving high maneuverability. It is also worth mentioning that the front axle is a 10-ton axle, axle 2 has a maximum load of 6,900 kg, and for axle 4, this is 8,600 kg.
