Thermo King has introduced the Advancer S trailer refrigeration unit. The Advancer S uses R-454A refrigerant, reducing the refrigerant’s GWP by more than 90% compared to R-452A.
Additional fuel efficiency is achieved through the Advancer EcoMode feature, which cuts diesel consumption by up to 50% compared to continuous mode. Designed to operate independently of the prime mover, the Advancer S can be integrated with AxlePower energy recovery technology or modular battery packs for hybrid and fully electric applications.
The Advancer S holds Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) certification. The LCA evaluates the unit’s COâ‚‚ footprint throughout its entire lifecycle—from raw material sourcing and manufacturing to the operational phase and end-of-life recycling.
The Advancer S features a risk management system with automated leak detection.
