Iveco S-eWay model 2026 — electric tractor with long range. Streamlined tractor with e-axle, power 480 kW, range 600 km.
Iveco presents the 2026 version of the electric tractor, suitable for long distances. The vehicle has a streamlined (extended) cabin similar to the Iveco H2 tractor, a drive directly on the rear axle (FPT e-axle with 480 kW power), and a battery capacity (603 kWh) that gives a range of 600 km. Iveco gives a 10-year or 1.2 million km warranty on the battery, and supports fleet owners with additional services to ensure a smooth transition to e-mobility.
The new IVECO S-eWay 4×2 tractor is equipped with full air suspension, which ensures excellent driving comfort and handling. Electric power take-offs (ePTOs) are available as an option – for example for refrigerated transport.
The core of the IVECO S-eWay is the advanced battery technology with three transversely mounted LFP battery packs. Of the total energy capacity of 603 kWh, 97 percent is usable – a high value. Thanks to 350 kW DC fast charging, the state of charge (SoC) can be increased from 20 to 80 percent in 60 minutes. A thermal management system reliably keeps the batteries within the optimum temperature range – from -30 °C to +45 °C. The new generation of LFP batteries is designed for a service life of 12 years with a capacity retention of 70 percent.
The S-eWay tractor has an extended Aero-Cab. The wheelbase is 393.2 cm. Since there is no engine under the cab, a large part of the frame is suitable for battery installation. The turning circle is comparable to that of conventional tractors. A 9-ton front axle is standard. Iveco cannot yet provide any information about the kerb weight.
In the cabin, drivers will find the same comfort, functions and design as in the S-Way diesel series. A display specially developed for the electric drive system provides real-time data about the electric drive system.
Information about the position and status of the vehicles can be monitored by fleet owners using the Iveco ON portal, accessible via a web browser. Drivers can manage essential functions with the Easy App. The infotainment display in the cabin has been expanded with a Smart Routing function that enables route planning for electric vehicles. Drivers of the Iveco S-eWay series also benefit from the Iveco Drivers Fidelity Club, which has been expanded to include the new electric driveline. This program rewards safe and efficient driving, which benefits both driver and fleet owner.
Iveco is also introducing an extensive range specifically for e-mobility. This includes the new eCharge Packs, which simplify charging with interoperable solutions and ensure integration of the charging infrastructure – for efficient and worry-free implementations of battery electric vehicles. In addition, Iveco Capital offers financial services for various leasing options and even a pay-per-use rental contract. (June 15, 2025)
