DAF XD / XF / XG / XG+ 270e / 310e / 350e Electric FTG (or FTN) — electric 6×2 tractor. Electric tractor unit, 6×2 with (steered or rigid) leading axle (FTG) or trailing axle (FTN), 370-480 hp.
The DAF XD, XF, XG, and XG+ Electric are now also available as 6×2 tractors. These so-called FTG chassis have a choice of a steered or non-steered leading axle. A trailing axle is also an option, in which case the vehicle is designated FTN.
These tractor chassis are available with medium to large cabs: XD, XF, XG, or the spacious XG+. The 6×2 Electric FTG and FTN are valuable additions to the 4×2 electric tractors, as the latter have a rather limited fifth-wheel load capacity. The DAF 6×2 electric tractors are also suitable as LHVs, with a maximum gross combination weight of 50 tonnes.
The DAF XD, XF, XG, and XG+ Electric are equipped with the PACCAR EX-D2 engine. This delivers outputs of 270 kW (370 hp), 310 kW (420 hp), or 350 kW (480 hp). The FTG with a leading axle has three battery packs, providing the maximum chassis space. With the DAF Electric FTN (6×2 tractors with a steered trailing axle), customers can choose from three, four, or five battery packs, extending the range to 500 km.
