D-TEC CC-20-3-T / CC2030-3-F — tank container chassis. Chassis for transporting 20ft tank containers / 20ft and 30ft tank containers and swap bodies.
Renewed generation of the CC-2030-3-F and CC-20-3-T tank container chassis, featuring a longer service life, lower weight, and strength thanks to 425 mm high longitudinal beams (previously 370 mm). The chassis are robotically welded for consistent quality. The low weight (3,475 kg for the 30 ft trailer and 3,310 kg for the 20 ft trailer) ensures lower fuel consumption and a higher payload. According to D-TEC, the chassis are approximately 150 kg lighter than comparable competitors. The payload is 35,525 kg for the 2030 and 35,690 kg for the 20ft. The chassis are the same length, but the 2030 has extra arms and corner postings.
These D-TEC tank container chassis are non-extendable. The CC-20-3-T is suitable for 20 ft containers, the CC2030-3-F for 20 and 30 ft containers and tank swap bodies.
D-TEC offers a choice of axles from Valx, SAF, Jost, and BPW (for the UK: exclusively BPW). With Valx and BPW, customers can choose between disc or drum brakes. Nowadays, D-TEC prefers to install axle assemblies (complete sets of multiple axles) due to the greater supply reliability of these components. However, individual axles are also available on request. The standard tire size is 385/65 R22.5; 385/55 R22.5 is optional. The standard coupling height is 118 cm (with low-profile tires: 111 cm). As usual, D-TEC offers these chassis with a long list of possible options (which naturally change weight / payload). These include: ferry eyes, wheel chocks, work lights, document tubes, lift options for the front and rear axles, toolboxes, kingpin lock, extra hose pockets, and a fire extinguisher. Rear lights featuring the D-TEC logo are now also available; these have a robust housing and are less prone to damage.
New CC-20 specifically for the United Kingdom
The CC-2030-3-F is suitable for both 20- and 30-foot tank containers and swap bodies. Transporting a 20-foot container on the rear of the chassis is also a standard option.
For carriers in the United Kingdom who primarily transport 20-foot containers, D-TEC has also developed the new CC-20-3-T UK. Thanks to a longer wheelbase, this version meets British weight distribution requirements, while retaining the benefits of a low curb weight and a low TCO.
