Competitors Daimler and Paccar collaborate in the production of truck batteries

Cummins, Daimler Trucks and PACCAR have selected Marshall County, Mississippi (USA) as the location for future truck battery production. Production is expected to begin in 2027.

The engine and truck manufacturers have joined forces to produce truck drive batteries as efficiently as possible and not be dependent on factories in Asia.

Cummins, Daimler and PACCAR each have 30% in the joint venture. Battery manufacturer EVE Energy has 10%.
