Kia offers a Cargo version of the EV3, an electric MPV, to order. The conversion involves removing the rear seat and installing a flat load floor and separation panel with a grille. The vehicle is delivered with a passanger car registration, as the load space is too small to qualify for a van registration. The conversion company is Veth Automotive.
The Kia EV3 Cargo is registered as a passenger car. However, due to its electric drive, the buyer enjoys tax benefits and access to low-emission zones. Of course, it does require regular recharging. According to Kia, recharging from 10 to 80 percent is possible (under ideal conditions) in 30 minutes. The official range of the EV3 Cargo is 605 km. Kia offers a charging subscription called Kia Charge.
Loading and unloading through the tailgate or side doors is certainly not easy. Lifting heavy items through the tailgate can hurt your back, so be careful. The dimensions of the cargo space: 144 x 114 x 91 cm. The payload is 450 kg.
