Renault Trucks E-Tech Trafic Platform Cab L1 / L2. Electric van chassis, estimated maximum body length 310 / 350 cm.
The Renault E-Tech Trafic is also available as a platform cab. Instead of a closed van, you purchase a cab with a platform, upon which a custom body of your choice can be mounted. The powertrain and all other technical components are identical to those of the standard van. The batteries are positioned beneath the chassis, while the drive motor is located at the rear axle. As shown in the photos, the platform sits lower than the wheels, enabling the construction of a cargo body with a low entry height. Also clearly visible are the pre-drilled holes in the platform, which provide bodybuilders with significant flexibility when mounting a superstructure.
Like the closed van version, this vehicle is available in two lengths (L1 / L2). Renault has not yet released official technical specifications regarding maximum body dimensions; however, we estimate the maximum body length to be 310 cm and 350 cm, respectively. The E-Tech Trafic features a relatively large steering angle, meaning that a long rear overhang will result in a significant outward swing at the rear when turning.
The traction battery is available with a capacity of either 60 kWh or 81 kWh. Charging can be performed via standard AC mains power or a fast charger (reaching a 15–80% charge level in 20 minutes). The battery is covered by an 8-year warranty (up to 160,000 km), with a guaranteed minimum state-of-health (SOH) of 70%. The van has a range of 350 km or 470 km; for the platform cab version, this may be slightly lower, depending on the shape and weight of the bodywork.
The E-Tech Trafic features a digital dashboard and a computer screen equipped with various apps, including an internet browser and voice control. A unique feature is the ability to run your own company’s software directly on the screen; specialists from Renault Trucks can provide guidance on setting this up. Furthermore, we recommend purchasing this vehicle through Renault Trucks dealers. They offer professional-grade service, including extended workshop opening hours and expert support for transitioning to zero-emission transport.
The Renault Trucks E-Tech Trafic is fully connected to the dealer network, continuously transmitting the data required for a dynamic maintenance plan. This allows maintenance intervals to be tailored to the vehicle’s actual usage.
