Schmitz Cargobull will present new semi-trailers, refrigeration units, and services at the IAA trade fair in Hanover in September (15-20 September 2026).
First and foremost, Schmitz is introducing the S.KO Cool refrigerated semi-trailer in combination with the new S.CU dc90 refrigeration unit. There are also other innovations in the field of refrigeration units, including the S.CU mt-DualEvap MultiTemp – which can simultaneously cool two compartments independently.
There are also new developments in the field of enclosed semi-trailers, such as the S.BO Multi and the S.BO Pace+ with Ferrostrukt technology for parcel transport. The Schmitz container trailer S.CF Allround 20–45 has been updated. Subsidiary GT Trailers has developed various city semi-trailers: the S.BO City box city semi-trailer, the S.CS City curtain-sided semi-trailer, and the S.KO City MultiTemp compartmentalized refrigerated trailer.
Also new is the PerformanceEco LTOe curtain-sided semi-trailer from partner firm Berger Ecotrailers, intended for use with electric tractor units. With its distinctive perforated frames, Berger focuses on weight reduction, and we can expect even more innovations in this area.
For heavy and bulky loads, Schmitz is now building the S.CS Mega X-Tough, a tautliner with 19.5-inch wheels, a high loading height, and a reinforced frame. The X-Tough was already available with 22.5-inch wheels.
New products are also being presented in the construction and commercial vehicle segment, such as the new aluminum tipper Schmitz Cargobull S.KI Light. Further innovations can be found in vehicle electronics: the Cargobull Operating System (COS) as a digital control system, the new Cargobull Trailer Diagnostics software, and the MyCargobull customer portal to keep customers well informed about their fleet.
