The DAF Trucks XF 480 FT Emerald Edition is based on the XG+ 480 FT. It is a luxurious version in dark green. This exclusive version combines premium design, modern technology, and exceptional comfort. The Emerald Edition is part of the Gemstone Collection, which launched in 2025 with the Sapphire Edition. The model range, designed like a jewel, symbolizes DAF’s 100-year history, which is heading towards the centenary in 2028. DAF is building 100 of these tractors in this version.
Features of this DAF XG+ include: a mattress with an emerald green pattern and an even better topper, matching curtains, the DAF Night Lock system for optimal visibility in the dark, standard climate control, and the high-quality DAF infotainment system. The XG+ 480 FT 4×2 tractor unit has a curb weight of around 8,116 kg. This is estimated to be over 200 kg heavier than a comparable XG tractor unit.
