Renault Trucks returns to IAA with its own stand after many years. Premieres include: electric 6×2 tractor, Master Offroad, and Flexys vans.
For the first time since 2018, Renault Trucks once again has its own stand at the IAA, the world’s largest commercial vehicle trade fair. And rightly so! Although the brand is part of the Volvo Group, it has a new, strong identity of its own with a loyal customer base and an ever-expanding portfolio — including vans starting from 2.5 tonnes GVW. Renault Trucks’ motto at IAA 2026: “Solutions that make transport sustainable”.
In Hall 21, Stand B52, the manufacturer is presenting the development of its electric range as well as the updated diesel trucks. Highlights include the zero-emission Renault Trucks E‑Tech T 780 6×2 tractor, the Flexys van, an electric Master 4×4, and the compact electric D14.
DE13R diesel engine
This engine has been developed to improve energy consumption, performance, and driving comfort. Fuel consumption and COâ‚‚ emissions are up to 4% lower compared to the previous generation. The engine is available with a maximum of 540 hp and 2,800 Nm of torque and is combined with a new Optidriver gearbox that ensures faster and smoother shifting. In addition, a more powerful engine brake ensures better vehicle control and extra driving comfort, particularly on challenging routes.
E-Tech T780
The absolute eye-catcher (picture in this article) is the Renault Trucks E-Tech T 780, a new model for emission-free long-distance transport. With a range of 660 km, enabling a full statutory driving day without intermediate charging, this model offers new possibilities for the electrification of international transport. The T 780 features a drive axle with an integrated electric motor. Thanks to this configuration, more batteries can be mounted on the frame. In addition, the heavy-duty electric range is represented by the Renault Trucks E-Tech T 540, designed for regional distribution, with a range of up to 450 km on a single charge.
E-Tech D14
For urban distribution, Renault Trucks introduces the E-Tech D14: a 4×2 chassis with a small turning circle (less than 7.3 meters) and a narrow width. These characteristics make the vehicle extremely maneuverable and ideal for use in inner-city environments.
Renault Trucks E-Tech Master Offroad
By popular demand, Renault Trucks is introducing an off-road version of the electric Master. This Offroad features 4WD, increased ground clearance, and accessories for off-road use.
Flexys: electric light commercial vehicle
