Waybiller and PMN AGRO are launching the implementation phase of an e-logistics platform. The next phase in the digitalization of grain transport.
The Estonian startup Waybiller has launched the implementation phase of a digital logistics platform tailored to the needs of grain company PMN AGRO in Poland. The system is being tested in a field trial.
The solution enables easy e-waybill management and real-time monitoring of crops and inventory. The system minimizes errors, automates documentation, and ensures regulatory compliance. PMN AGRO is one of the first companies in the agricultural sector to implement nearly fully automated grain logistics management. “Initial tests are promising and show that after implementing the system, we will reduce the amount of paperwork and the number of errors resulting from manual data entry. Implementation is currently underway at our external purchasing centers, which will demonstrate the benefits of the implemented solutions during the harvest season. One advantage is the speed with which adjustments can be implemented in the system based on our comments and suggestions,” says Piotr Naumiuk, President of PMN AGRO.
“This translates into process efficiency within the company and saves team resources, which we can then effectively deploy in other business areas,” adds Piotr Naumiuk.
During a recent on-site visit, Waybiller representatives presented software adjustments and gathered additional information about the product and its implementation. “The collaboration with PMN AGRO is going very well. Working on this project has allowed us to gather important information about how e-transport can function in the agricultural environment in Poland, where the grain market is 30 times larger than in Estonia. I believe PMN AGRO will become a leader in the implementation of digital WUzetka, and the company’s success demonstrates the importance of digitizing operational processes,” said Kert Kaspar Tammaru, Growth Manager at Waybiller.
Waybiller first announced its collaboration with PMN AGRO at the end of May. The project has now moved from the test phase to the operational and production phase. The joint efforts of both companies are aimed at demonstrating to the Polish grain market that paperless logistics is a solution for the future, but is already ready for implementation and has been tested in field trials.
Further updates and implementation plans will be announced this summer. Waybiller was founded in 2019 by a team of programmers and business consultants from Thorgate to offer scalable, digital shipping documentation solutions for the logistics industry. Today, the company serves customers in the Baltic and Scandinavian regions and is expanding its operations within the EU. Waybiller supports Polish logistics service providers in preparing for full compliance with the upcoming eFTI (electronic freight transport information) regulations.
